ok today I compared  the maxisys 905 with the gm tech2  on a 2009 chevy equinox although some feature are layed out differently then the tech2 it was exactly the same all options all function and they all work 100% the only difference is the maxisys has auto vehicle detect the tech2 doest not the maxisys diagnose gds2 vehicles the tech2 does not the 905 has a battery tech 2 dont and the 905 has twice the speed  this test was done on 1 vehicle only many more need to be tested  and am not saying its better than the tech2 they are 2 different tools but it competes with the tech2  i am very pleased  considering is in a very early stage good job autel.

and the Maxidas will do the Volt, whereas the tech2 won't...  I have used the tech2 for Saabs for years..  I wonder how Maxidas will do with Saabs.. and if TIS will be needed to gain access..  This should be fun..  Thanks for the info.

It does not do that well on saabs. Tis is allways needed, you can look around for saab
tis2000 software, you can at least do free flashing until about 2008 and other
    programmings as well.
